Sam and Mack

Sam and Mack first met when Sam was 7 weeks old and Mack was just days old. They vacationed together at age 3 months in Wellfleet (on Cape Cod). As babies, they spent many hours playing on the floor while their parents ate and drank. They did sleep-overs regularly - and sometimes, when their parents wanted to drink too much - their parents would sleep over, too! They shared their love of video games for too many hours of their youth (my opinion, not theirs!). They vacationed in Italy and at the beach. Although Mack and Sam never lived in the same town, it is heartwarming to see how they have remained friends. We had to get them together for dinner before Sam left for his summer job and before they both head off to college in the fall. I am happy to see these two happy (and tall!) boys move on to their next adventure.
