Over the course of the year, all the kids in Edie's Kindergarten class became obsessed with losing teeth. Edie waited patiently while many of her friends lost teeth and kept wiggling two pesky loose bottom teeth. Finally, this week, both fell out! She was surprisingly calm about the process. I say surprisingly because as many of you know, Edie isn't all that relaxed about: (1) anything new, or (2) blood. The tooth fairy paid a visit twice this week and Edie was happy to receive a total of $4 which she happily put into her piggy bank.
Later in the week, a now partly toothless Edie proudly attended an "opening" at our town's Education Center where one her Kindergarten art projects was on display. The artists were invited to the opening with their parents, and the elementary school art teachers and the district art coordinator came to ask the artists about their work.
