Happy MLK Birthday! We are all home today, watching the snow fall. Chris was supposed to head to New York to check in on his parents and their upcoming move, but decided to hold off until later this evening. I have been so busy lately, leaving little time for photos and blog updates. I have volunteered for too much, apparently! I am organizing the first in a series of evening events for a local art center, and I have also taken on major fundraising activities for Edie's elementary school. We also are in the process of doing work on the Cape house. We have a great contractor and while he is there, I keep thinking of other things to have him do for us. Our primary guest bathroom is almost complete - we saw it yesterday and it looks great! He also redid our laundry room/closet, and we are "freshening up" the other guest bathroom while he is there. I have become very good at picking out bathroom tile and fixtures. Well, perhaps I should say very quick and decisive! It will be well worth the effort when we get to enjoy the results of the work this summer. Other than that, the girls are good and Sam is thinking of looking for a job. Oh my! More on that later....
